in einer Hausgemeinschaft zusammen leben möchten.

Cascina Contina befindet sich ca. 2km von Rosate Milanese entfernt, ein Dorf von
5.000 Einwohnern, und liegt ca. 20km von Mailand entfernt.

in Italienisch sind vorteilhaft. Bereitschaft, Italienisch zu lernen. Projektbeschreibung:
The Social Cooperative "Contina" was born in 1997 in order to help those
suffering from drug addiction. Its mission was later expanded thanks to the opening
of a therapeutic Community - Cascina Contina (namely Cascina farmhouse). The Cascina
Contina provides its guests with an atmosphere of normality, and the benefits
of being part of a welcoming family. In contrast with today's common beliefs,
Contina proves that people from various walks of life can live together in harmony,
not only drug-addicted but also HIV-positive people and minors who mainly come
from juvenile detention and/or have familial and social problems.
The intention
is to offer the guests the possibility of recovering from their problematic condition
and rediscovering both a range of values that our society has forgotten and their
personal culture and traditions lost in the stress and difficulties of modern
life.
Ablauf: Contina is a large farmhouse, composed
of three different communities: drug addicts and HIV-infected people; teenagers
with penal or social related problems and, the last one, families with children,
also known as the Parenting Group. The volunteer will be hosted in the latter,
being mainly engaged in the daily life of the crèche, which hosts at present
six little children (2 to 6 years old).
Generally, the volunteer's weekly
schedule of service is from Monday to Friday, from 8 o'clock in the morning to
midday. Here she will be working in the nursery side by side with the educator.
The volunteer will have 2 days off every week (usually Saturday and Sunday) and
2 vacation days each month to be decided with the staff.
The volunteer will
live there with adults in therapy and their children in a single bedroom with
a private bathroom. She will share the kitchen, common spaces and all her meals
with the assisted families and their children. Contina's guests produce most of
the food that they eat (vegetables, bread, milk, eggs …). Wichtig:
-cooperation in the housework (preparation of meals, cleaning the kitchen,
keeping the common rooms tidy),
-to share the meals with the families and
children. It is important that the volunteer is open to this, meals being good
moments for togetherness, communication, and expressing feelings and problems,
-due to obvious reasons, it is strictly prohibited to use or introduce drugs and
alcohol into the farmhouse. Aufgaben:
-to
take care of the children of the guests who are in therapy at Contina,
-to
organise events for the community or in the Park,
-to organize workshops,
games, story-telling moments, painting workshops, parties...
-to
take part in community activities,
-to take the guests to special meetings
and other events. Besonderheit:
-eine Versicherung
wird von der Partnerorganisation nur für die Dienstzeit gestellt.
-es
ist nach dem IVS geplant, dass die Freiwillige ab Februar bzw. März 2011
im Rahmen eines EFD auf dem Projekt weiter arbeitet. Preis:
