Environmental /Environmental Conservation Camp 14/05-26/05 ENVI Environment Youth
Club, Klonghoikhong, Songkhla Vols: 15
Background: Young people
are the most concerned about the way the world's environment is being destroyed.
Through seminars and work projects, the organizations raise the awareness of young
people of the threats posed to the environment.
At the same time, they propose
concrete alternatives for activities and pedagogical tools to disseminate the
information. Each year, many of the environmental groups are involved in working
to protect the environment and to promote education and environmental matters.
Khlongla sub district is the water conservation area of Songkhla province. It’s
the beginning of water for a million of people.
Working: The volunteer
will work with local youth environmental club. In the living place, there are
various works of volunteer which you can work and learning together such as:
* Cleaning river
* Planting trees
* Protecting animals
* Creating
eco-villages
VSA Organization are translating for organization (English is
important), website, video presentation, repairing living area as assistant to
set up eco-tourism trip.
Location: Klongla Reservoir Klonghoikhong,
Songkhla biggest city in the Southern.
Accomodation: Stay at Klongla Youth
club member house in dormitory style. Rural Area

Education/Creative English camp 11/06-23/06 EDUC Tung Wa kindergarten, Pansanan
School, Satun Vols: 10
Background: Give primary Thai
student have the big chance to communication with the foreigner. Destroy shyness
from them and let them used to foreigner even now not only English is important
to be in the world. Education camp is the most wanted from Thai people when thinking
of international camp.
Working: Volunteers are expecting to
work as English teacher in primary school. They can preparing their lesson by
themselves but the teacher at the school can give the advice (do not expect this
point too much even the teachers are also shy to speak out) and you also get the
volunteers history report book which last volunteers wrote what they had done
and information you need.
Location: (Every school is at rural
area)

Camp 09/07 - 21/07 RENO/ENVI Songkhla Vols: 15
Background: With
the inspiration of peace, we have created a small learning center where everyone
can learn and understand. Peace Village is the learning center where everyone
can come and learn about things such as languages, culture exchange, organic farming,
environmental protection and international community living.
Working:
- Center renovation and construction; as we are a new center, we need more hand
from volunteer to build up the center.
- Organic farm; we plant and grow organic
vegetable in the center.
- Environmental friendly; planting tree, recycle
and promoting on global action to prevent climate change
- Relationship with
the village; there are many volunteer activities in the village and local community,
we always give them a hand such as cleaning in the village, temple and school,
temple ceremony.
- Creative English Teaching; to give the chance for kids and
people in the village have opportunity to communicate with difference languages,
touch difference culture.
Location: Peace Village, Kok Muang, Khlonghoikhong,
Songkhla. 20 kms in country side from Hat Yai city.
Accomodation: Peace

- 18/08 AGRI /ENVI Agriculture Learning Center, Songkhla Vols: 15
Background:
Organized with Agriculture learning center where making organic product such as
fruit and vegetable, gas. This center is not working only give Royal new agriculture
theory for people but also do example agriculture in the center.
Working:
Volunteers are expected to work in the farm and Peace Village where there are
vegetable planting, fruit garden, mush room farm, fish ponds, rice field and rubber
plantation. At an example farm, this is the place of the Thai organic farm network
where they do the new theory agriculture to learn Thai people realize value of
ordinary agriculture and organic.
Location: Peace Village, Royal farm
and Ja Nong Village, Jana, Songkhla close to Songkhla lake. 30 kms from Songkhla.
Accomodation:
Peace Village, Thai style hut is provided & Stay at the Farmer house. Food
is included.

university student workcamp as well as international workcamp with are always
welcome and need for them to development their local community.
Working:
- Renovation and construction; temple, school and public places in the village
are always need volunteers hand to renovate, cleaning, painting.

farm; to promoting organic food we will give our hand to support those village
s who already doing it. their plant and grow organic vegetable in the village.

Working: Volunteers are expected to work in the school such as
